    I wasn’t feeling it as much as I expected (Haemi was a little MPDG for my taste) but then I reached a point where I couldn’t help noticing how transfixed I was. Not that much was “happening” but thanks to that amazing understated score, something was threatening to “happen” for the whole last half. And I couldn’t pry my attention away. That scene in Ben’s place/parking garage later in the film? 👀👀 The ending? 👀👀👀

    This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

    But is there really a witch?, I thought, after first reading about this film over a year ago. I was mostly expecting this to be an ambiguous tale where the titular evil-doer was metaphorical, an approach that's not unfamiliar to arthouse films of today. But my inner darkness was absolutely delighted to discover this was not the case.
