Dang this is a much better time than I was expecting. Still a little formulaic but that’s unavoidable to a degree with superhero movies. But there was enough new wrinkles with Mysterio being the villain that kept me fully engaged the entire time.
Jake Gyllenhaal was great, although as a Jake Gyllenhall stan I feel like a role like this doesn’t allow him to show his full range of talents. He was still great though.
My only gripe with this movie is that it’s a tad too long.
I saw this movie in a Dolby cinema theater with advanced visuals & sound and vibrating seats. And damn it was worth the price. One of the best movie theater experiences I’ve ever had.
