Lethal Weapon ★★½

It's pretty funny how this movie throws out all attempts at characterization and plot halfway through to have non-stop shootouts instead. The chemistry between the main actors and Mel Gibson's craziness makes up for the shaky writing, action and choreography though.
It's very much a product of its time, a different style of filmmaking that has long gone out of fashion but left its mark on movie culture and thus is well worth revisiting for anyone who likes action and cheese.
