    The Dark Knight

My favorite movie of all time.

The Dark Knight is a masterpiece, a revelation, and a true game changer to the business of Hollywood. Christopher Nolan, my personal favorite director, is the perfect mind to take on the task of creating a mainstream action movie, with astounding performances, that is full of style and intrigue.

Every department of this film operates to the highest standard: the performances, writing, cinematography, production design, stunts, visual effects, sound, editing, and score are incredible.…

The Perks of Being a Wallflower

    ★★★★½

A truly authentic, genuine, and emotional coming-of-age story.

This film is a gut-punch and a warm hug at the same time. The story is so meticulously told and each character is fully developed. The performances are fantastic and the soundtrack adds to the fun. It’s very impressive what Stephen Chbosky is able to achieve writing the book, writing the screenplay, and directing the movie.

The top three actors are perfect: Logan Lerman’s emotional performance is just phenomenal and so many…

    Give me more Capone!

The baseball bat dinner scene is freaking insane and should’ve been the vibe of this entire movie.

I recently visited the Mob Museum in Las Vegas and it got me really excited about the story of The Untouchables. Eliot Ness turning down HUGE bribes and leading this group is an awesome tale. While this film does not claim to be very historically accurate, it still feels good to have the gunslinging team kill some mobsters and…

Well that was one of the most uncomfortable conversations that I have ever been apart of…

Sydney Sweeney is INCREDIBLE. Even as she tries to downplay her beauty here (which is actually impossible), her acting is really awesome. I can’t wait for her future films.

Despite all of the political-ness, this movie is told in a very unique way. Using an actual audio file as all of the dialogue may seem a little lazy at first but I think it’s…

An extremely odd concept that shouldn’t work, but it does. Tremendously

Taika Waititi hits back to back home runs with Thor: Ragnarok and Jojo Rabbit (let’s not talk about Thor: Love and Thunder). As the writer, director, and fourth lead of the movie, he’s a certified genius. This film goes on to win the Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay while nominated for Best Picture, Supporting Actress (Johansson), Costume Design, Production Design, and Editing. Jojo Rabbit is the perfect mixture of…

    Love & Death

    ★★★½

Elizabeth Olsen fully embracing that she is one of the most convincing suburban housewives ever.

Love & Death is an acting masterclass from her, Jesse Plemons, and Tom Pelphrey. In a remarkably similar role (despite the superpowers) to Wandavision, Olsen gives an incredible performance. Especially towards the back half of the season, her ability to depict every emotion is insane. Plemons has one of the widest ranges I have ever seen from an actor. From Game Night to The Irishman to…
