Atticus Xey’s review published on Letterboxd:
A picture that borrows from Ari Aster's Midsommar, and The Last Exorcism, with some Rosemary's Baby thrown in for giggles. It isn't much like its predecessors, and that makes it more interesting, as a young woman searching for her family history, turns out, well, I mean, come on, it turns out to be a shitty decision!
I enjoyed the picture's setting, and I liked the main character, but the rest we are only offered bits and pieces. It's a short picture, so that is to be expected, but nothing is explained about the thing that is interested in and ultimately causes some real problems in the end.
It's a neat Halloween mix, and it kept me hanging in there until the end.
