AFI 2017: Film 6
MARGOT ROBBIE STAN!
A sympathetic approach to a story I remember little of growing up.
Yes there are funny beats and jabs throughout on Harding herself, and this will be a sure fit for the comedy category come award season.
I think this was a well made film about a woman who was attacked, deserving It or not. Obviously the incident ruined her career, but the last act of the film was where Margot really showed her best work in the role. You oddly felt for her a bit.
I laughed. I even teared up once.
Figure skating is all this girl knew.
That and how to throw a punch.
Go get em Margot.
