i laughed quite a lot during this? like a lot? i don't know if that's because of
1. the fact that i'm swedish? the whole theater laughed for like 50% of this movie just because of the absurdity of seeing our traditions and things that are normal to us being exaggerated and turned into horror. swedes love being "seen" like this, everyone say thank you ari aster.
2. the fact that i'm not easily scared or disturbed at all? i suspect i was scarred sometime as a young child who watched too much horror at a young age and now nothing creeps me out anymore, so maybe i'm not the best person to judge what's scary or not
but still! ari aster is a creative genius, i adore his sets so much. i want to print like every frame of this film. also, i hate that i found will poulter hot in this. someone please shoot me
