David Espinosa’s review published on Letterboxd:
I know I'm super late to the party, but I finally watched it, and I adored this film. This is one of those movies that are hard to define for me, those stories that revive my hope in love and romance, and at the same time give me the cynical feeling that that's not how real life works, I will never get something like that. There's so much magic here, so much hope, and it makes me feel a lot, my eyes got really watery.
The idea of destiny, dreams, tragedy, time, and love intertwine here in the most beautiful way, although its hard to see it through the first act (which felt a little messy). It's a movie that hits you hard but allows you to see the most beautiful things in the world; feelings of human connection and life. It's a captivating movie, with gorgeous animation (although I had some problems with it), great music, and a moving story.
