Seems like 2018 was the year for batshit crazy films that make you need a Xanax afterwards (Suspiria,Hereditary,Mandy) , and i'm all for that really.

I was terrified when I first read that the masterful original was going to be remade, and I finished the film more than satisfied. Definitely going to need to rewatch it to make sense of most of the plot, but the horror scenes were so damn effective that it has stuck with me way after the credits were over.
