Stephen’s review published on Letterboxd:
There’s so much honesty in what Chloe Zhao is presenting here. Whether that be a painfully honest look into deep rooted capitalism in our country, or the bittersweet honesty of living your life however you want, regardless of how tough it is. It feels so authentic, and Frances McDormand perfectly fits in in the world of nomads and their lifestyles. She’s so, so good. Ludovico Einaudi’s piano work along with Joshua James Richards cinematography honestly left me speechless. This is truly something special, especially in a year with so much loneliness and hurt.
“See you down the road.”
