Nathan’s review published on Letterboxd:
A very interesting film to say the least. It’s full of personality and has a lot of fun moments. The production design and overall presentation was also pretty great too. Songs also slapped. When it comes to my issues it would be some of the acting and the fact that I never felt any real impact from the story, it was certainly entertaining and but similar to Scarface it didn’t fully hit me like I know it hits a lot of people, but just like Scarface it is still a good movie that I do recommend.
Edit: after thinking about it for a while I decided to raise the score because i do kinda love it after letting it sit in my mind for a while, my negatives do kinda still stand though.
