    The sex felt authentic, and the motivations were understandable (as 'understandable' as this could ever possibly get, anyway!)

    I liked how it showed that she did have a moral compass, it just wasn't always directed towards her own family...

    I think I missed how Lina found out, though? (Forgive me - I'm currently dealing with Covid symptoms, so my concentration isn't as sharp as usual! Did she find the tapes?)

    EDIT - Never mind; Wikipedia tells me that she saw them together, which I must have missed!

    Best visuals in the DC-verse maybe ever? (certainly in its modern incarnation, anyway!) ... Characters using sea creatures as modes of transport... What's not to like? :-)

    Neither a 'good' film, nor a bad one... but definitely unfairly treated by the fuss that's been generated about it.

    In hindsight, were a few of its shots ill-advised, given the subsequent discourse? Perhaps you could dispense with the long, slow pans up a young body (intended, I think, to highlight how frail they are, and not to be titillating) ... and maybe you could cut out the few brief moments of rump shaking - but if you start censoring…
