Here is the fully complete list of all films mentioned in Amos Vogel's 1974 book Film as a Subversive Art. This includes both films written about in text, as their own entries, films referenced within other texts and those written about in image captions. The only exception is a few films mentioned as counter-examples of filmic subversion (like Gone With the Wind and Love Story) which I have not included. I added the remaining films not yet listed in TMDB/Letterboxd and attempted to arrange them in the order which they appear in the book, with preference given to the spot of their review if they appear multiple places.

Update (October 2021):: The new edition of Film as a Subversive Art will be published late October by Film Desk Books. I'm so proud to have worked as the co-editor of this newly-revised edition of the book! I'm updating the list yet again with a few tweaks while paging through this new edition.
I'm also contacting Letterboxd about adding some of the adult films that are written about in the book, so stay tuned.
