    Filled with slow and calculated dread. I knew there was an inevitable end to something called Mary Last Seen, but I was still rather shaken by the context clues detailing Mary’s fate. Apparently, this is a prelude to Sean Durkin’s feature film debut Martha Marcy May Marlene, but I’m not sure I need to see anything else about the subject, as this is rather effective on its own.

    Side Note: There was an extra layer of eeriness to this watch, due to the current disappearance of Gabby Petito. I pray she is found soon.

    Very much feels like a farewell film, just as much as 2008’s Gran Torino did, but as long as Clint Eastwood lives, I don’t think he’ll ever make an intentional final film. It’ll just come naturally. Anyways, Eastwood has evidently found the style he likes, and he’s keeping it.
