great choice and development of characters to portray the gravity of such a revolting situation, as well as the choice of actors to play them. the (very) slow pace is outweighed by the amazing photography and hypnotizing performances from the whole cast

The Batman 2022
this is no super hero movie, this is an epic neo-noir crime thriller, and a masterfully beautiful one. it takes the best qualities from nolan's trilogy and gives it a new and singular interpretation, perfectly gloomy. the cinematography and soundtrack are out of this world, and the three hours allow for the scenes to breathe, the multiple events are never rushed.
and when something in the way hits...oh man. chills.
