A well-rounded jukebox musical that roughly captures the style and essence of Elton John though doesn't blow us away.

Booksmart is everything. There are so many well timed and character driven laughs that this will no doubt be the best comedy of 2019 when we get to January. It's well thought out, the characters aren't even close to one-dimensional, and the editing is tight. Most modern comedies let scenes run to get one more laugh in and Wilde directed this sucker to the point where she didn't need to.…
