Steve’s review published on Letterboxd:
"The Goldfinch" is masterfully lensed, by Roger Deakins obviously. The other masterful stroke in this film is in the casting choices both young and old. Where the film falters is in seemingly incongruent or rushed changes in character as it concerns downfalls, which is odd considering how long the run time actually is. In the end the story and the arcs, while not satisfyingly complete, leave us in a place of acceptance alongside all our characters in the story.
