first off, this was my first Carax and I'm genuinely so surprised and excited to check out his filmography now.
As for the movie, the starting is insanely brilliant it was so well executed, I almost believed it to be movie of the year for me. But as the movie progressed, it weared off of me. The movie stands a bit long overdue.
But nevertheless the movie is a technical cinematic achievement and Leo Carax deserved that best director trophy at Cannes.
As for the main star of the film, I sure hope Adam Driver wins Best Actor at Academy's this time around, this was better than his Marriage Story performance.
