This movie seemed designed entirely for me: seemingly the spiritual successor to Who Framed Roger Rabbit but actually more like that world’s version of Galaxy Quest. It’s the best live-action/animated hybrid movie since Looney Tunes: Back in Action and, unlike the new Space Jam and Ready Player One, is a pretty decent commentary on how nostalgia culture is used to mask deep emptiness.
Also, it’s bonkers how they were able to bring in so many characters from R-rated animated shows into a PG movie.
Romancing the Stone with the twist of both characters basically acting as Kathleen Turner. It was fun! Channing Tatum needs to be in more comedies
This film was ahead of its time in a few ways, but mainly predicting what video game logic would look like in games with several different endings based on choices made throughout.
