All I can say is after watching ALL QUIET ON THE WESTERN FRONT is war is hell. You think to yourself you’re doing good for joining the army during WWI and you become a hero. Nope, this is as horrific as I thought it would be. What’s sad is the lead character of Paul is only 17 years old and he hasn’t even began his adulthood due to being a soldier. This movie felt so real that I wish no war can be fought.
Literally this is one of the best anti-war movies I’ve seen in awhile. If you haven’t seen this one either due to watching a prior version, this is worth seeing.
