When Harry Met Sally... 1989
When Harry Met Sally is a film that I didn’t have the highest expectations for. When I saw it on the syllabus for one of my classes, it was one of those, “okay, now I will have watched this without having to choose to watch it,” situations, if that makes sense. With that being said, I genuinely really enjoyed it. With an incredibly witty and clever screenplay, Billy Crystal’s perfect comedic timing and insane amount of charisma shines though with Meg Ryan providing a very likable and charming counterpart to be paired with. Glad I got to see this!

Bones and All 2022
The end credits of Bones and All rolled and I watched them in their entirety in silence. I didn’t check the time. I didn’t open letterboxd. I just sat there trying to process that ending. For a while, I have cited River Phoenix’s campfire scene in My Own Private Idaho as my favorite acting performance of all time. Timothée Chalamet’s final words in Bones and All overcame me with that same raw vulnerability, and his acting is right up there with River’s. …
