Uhhh perhaps not

This was a fun movie hindered by hype and over-marketing.
With the first trailer removing a lot of the emotional impact of key scenes ("If you're nothing without this suit..." and "I wanted you to be better" and the Ferry Scene and the villain reveal and, and, and) there's a lot of dull moments where they would otherwise be insanely exciting. This might be one of the worst movies I've ever seen.
I enjoyed the first part of the film, and then right around the time Cash started "rapping", I lost total interest.
The movie takes this weird turn into the surreal, which it hints at heading for from the start, but then lays into it. The totally bizarre nature was so distracting that I forgot to watch the movie and instead spent more time trying to figure out why I wasn't leaving.
Armie Hammer is a fucking gem, though.
