  Going in I only knew this was the film with the infamous Ryan O’Neal “Oh God, oh man” scene. That’s not even anywhere near the most bizarre moment in this thing. Insanity from start to finish. Wings Hauser should have won an Oscar for this. Highest possible recommendation.

  Was fairly ambivalent to the first Avatar. Happy to say this is a much stronger film, and I can’t even begin to describe how stunning and immersive it is. Still a very straightforward story (to the point of just bringing back the great Stephen Lang as the top heel and off handedly mentioning another element as the new macguffin they’re chasing) but the story isn’t really the point here.
