I think I liked this, but it was my most anticipated film from last year and failed miserably to be anything near to what I and possibly everyone expected. I don't want to compare, but I have to, it was a huge mistake to release this film so soon after Portrait of a Lady on Fire, especially when they're both similar on many aspects. I love Saoirse Ronan and Kate Winslet and they're brilliant in this, but they have no chemistry whatsoever, it was painful to watch at times.
Although this film has more flaws than attributes and I'm speaking like I hated it, it wasn't that bad, could've been so much worse.
