Greta Gerwig? A fucking genius.
This film has so many flaws and is so far from perfect but I love it and I've loved it since the first time I saw it. It might be my favourite film of all time, and I may be blinded by the fact that I love Greta and Saoirse but that doesn't take away the fact that it's beautifully written and directed. Also, it's a little harder to watch since I read the letter(s) Marion wrote for Lady Bird, I literally couldn't breathe through that scene. I'll find a lot of better films than this one (talking about quality) but personally, I don't think I'll ever love any other film as much as I love this.
