First movie of the year and it's an absolute masterpiece.
This was phenomenal, I loved how painfully awkward it was most of the time, it felt real and I'm sure everyone can relate to the story at least at some point. I also loved the subtle comedy this had, it was maybe a bit odd, but at the end it made perfect sense as it was done really well, it added more to that unique feeling this film had too. It's hard to find more ways to describe this film, it's just so fucking good. Renate Reinsve is particularly great, she turned this into a much better film with her performance, she's stunning.
