Overall Rating: Good
An intimate, melancholic, nostalgic story of youth, fractured families, anxiety, and loneliness. This film definitely serves as an important stepping stone for Kim Bora, as you see a lot of her ideas in their infancy stage, which become fully developed in her debut feature House of Hummingbird. Kim Bora and Yoon Ga Eun are two of my favorite recently discovered directors and I can't wait to see what they create next. Not many directors are able to genuinely capture all the simplicities and complexities of youth.
