Nameless Gangster ★★★½

Choi Min-Sik is great as usual (although not as much of a powerhouse as he is in Oldboy), and the music is really good as well, but something is just kind of off about the way this story is presented. The time jumps can get confusing (mostly towards the beginning), and nothing anybody does really fees as drastic as we’re supposed to believe it is. I guess I would say the problems are limited to the writing though, because you can tell everybody was really working hard for this film.
