Titane

Titane

What's brilliant about Titane is that beneath its ostensibly bizaare exterior (it makes Raw seem tame) is a rock solid thematic foundation that would work even if you removed whatever fantastical elements are in place. Most of the attention will reasonably go to Agathe Rousselle, but the film depends on Vincent Lindon to bring a metric ton of emotional resonance to keep things grounded, and he does so with aplomb.
