  Derivative and reminiscent of sci-fi films like ‘Elysium’, ‘i Robot’, ‘Looper’, ‘A.I.’, ‘Blade Runner’ and even Edwards own ‘Rogue One’. If the writing matched the visuals this would have been a refreshing example of original sci-fi. First act is solid, slowly descends from there. Love the idea and design of “The Nomad” space station. It plays with many neat concepts but struggles to set them up or pay them off.

  The first act of this movie is the funniest section of any saw, earnestly trying to humanise a deranged serial killer is not what I was expecting but I’m here for it
