Michael Marino’s review published on Letterboxd:
John Wick 3 is the type of film that late directors like Stanley Kubrick and Robert Altman have always strived for making in their whole careers.
I'm saying this because after watching Keanu Reeves tonight kicking so much ass, all I could say is well...
Well, Eat Shit, Ingmar Bergman.
Cries and Whispers ain't no fucking John Wick 3
In all seriousness, I must say I was kind of disappointed in the overall lack of screen time for some players in the supporting cast, especially from Halle Berry.
I mean she got fucked harder here than when she had got all that big dick energy from Billy Bob Thornton in Monster's Ball.
Other than that my key main issue of the film was the pacing, and when you put it in comparison to the second one. Especially during the whole entire Casablanca sequence I thought.
But that's just the asshole in me who just really wants something to criticize.
But what's more to be said - John Wick 3 is one hell of a marvel for all of action cinema.
Thank you, Keanu.
I love you
Call Me! before you make Number 4 darling
