A messy, but entertaining film. A second viewing, or a knowledge of the alien races in the film might help, otherwise prepare to be confused for much of the opening half hour. When it hits it's stride, it's an entertaining mid-tier Marvel film, but one that feels closer to some of the goofier DC films than a crucial stepping stone between Infinity War and Endgame.
A film in three parts. It starts as a low budget, cheesy horror. Then a change of tone, for a saggy, exposition filled middle. Thankfully, the end is smart and funny, and made me want to rewatch it. The zombies may have been looking for brains, but they got a whole lot of heart instead.
