was it cheesy, cheap and cliched? it's a xavier dolan film. did it feel like a mash of bollywood, telenovela and those garry marshalls' holiday movies tonally and emotionally? yes it did. did the choice of music feel like it came straight from a 17 years old theatre twink's ipod? yes it did. can kit harrington act other than his sad-hot-boi-with-a-gorgeous-oily-hair persona? no. could natalie portman's wig be considered a crime against humanity? most definitely. is this the film equivalent of ed sheeran songs? yes it is. is it a bad film? not really. did i enjoy this? yes i did.
