Visually uninteresting (which is shocking considering this is directed and shot by the guy who shot Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction), and filled to the brim with unlikeable, dull characters, not to mention absolutely awful CGI. The plot is also pretty indecipherable, which would be fine (I don’t mind some mystery), but everything is parsed out so slowly the movie ended up boring me pretty quickly.
It’s been a while since I’ve seen the original, but I remember liking it. There’s very little to like here.
