i told myself i wasn’t going to watch any stupid, cloying romantic movies today because i’m not in the mood to feel like shit...good thing before sunrise is neither of those things!
this is the pure embodiment of the kind of love we all look for, the kind that makes you feel reckless and dumb and willing to wander around a city all night just to be in someone’s company a little bit longer. the kind that won’t let you make eye contact without laughing or wanting to jump each other (especially while in a listening booth). the kind where you say goodbye (or “later”) just to feel the excitement of saying hello again. and maybe it’s unrealistic, maybe it’s cheesy even, but it’s nice to think, and hope, that someone somewhere might be experiencing it.
