John Wick Chapter 3: Parabellum is another hard hitting entry to the franchise.
Keanu Reeves returns as the titular character as he is being pursued by assassins for a $14M bounty. Stylish and beautifully choreographed, Parabellum is unstoppable. Wick slammed bodies and fired guns non-stop, and this over-the-top action more than met expectations. Random objects were used in fight scenes - a belt, a book, even a horse - which amped up the fun. The characters of the Bowery King, Charon and Winston were utilized more, with series newcomer Anjelica Houston and Halle Berry joining the all-seeing world under The High Table.
Plotwise, Wick 3 is a little too full and heavy. But I think this is to set a fourth and fifth installment. I just wished the story was written a little more cohesively. Also, Keanu Reeve's acting is still acceptably fuzzy.
