Watched in the cinema
In a nutshell: As easy-going, casual and hilarious summer adventure "Spider-Man: Far From Home" is the perfect counterpart to the melancholy and monumentally high stakes of "Avengers: Endgame."
The movie manages to be much more clever and better integrated into the overall structure of the MCU than it seems at first. It unfolds its increasingly better twists and surprises into the very last scene.
It's always best, like already in "Homecoming", when Peter's life as an ordinary teenager is shown, while the partly creative, but partly interchangeable action scenes are almost distracting.
Tom Holland is becoming more and more likeable to me and in my opinion he is perfectly suited for this role. Zendaya as MJ is a really cool character- I really like her. And Jake Gyllenhaal just shreds. Such a strong actor... the perfect cast for Mysterio.
There is a Mid-Credit-Scene and a Post-Credit-Scene with surprising appearances of old acquaintances. I was especially happy about the one in the first scene!
