Drive My Car

Drive My Car ★★★½

A sensual movie about loss and processing best viewed in a seaside Seattle villa, two years after a loved one has died, sipping a glass of whiskey after comfortably eating good ramen. With an intermission for a small bit of something sweet, like maybe mochi or some dark chocolate covered almonds. As you’re watching, you can think to yourself one of two things: I used to drive a Saab 🥲

I wish I could drive a Saab 😢
