The Overnighters 2014
Having a hard time trying to even start putting my thoughts about this in words, holy shit. One of the most interesting, complex, and emotional experiences I’ve had watching a documentary. So human and messy, heartwarming and heartbreaking. No easy answers or simple truths, just people pulled in spit out by the myth of the American dream and the institutions it’s been built on and living with the consequences.
God, life is hard.
