Rewatched this before I finally get round to watching WW1984. This is actually a really good movie, and has such great potential to be show-stopping, but for whatever reason thats not what they used the budget for? Gal Gadot was great tho I have to say.
beautiful cinematography, i love our planet it’s so pretty, i also love tom, domhall and leo on a deep spiritual level....no idea what will poulter was doing here? but points to him for trying to be in a serious film. the story didn’t grab me much at all :(
i’m gonna skip everything and just apologise to akira and zarik for this, but mostly zarik, i’m sorry but this wasn’t my vibe and im not a cool edgy film student so leave me alone about it.
wow. this was beautiful, captivating and meaningful.
as someone who isn’t the biggest fan of “alien” genres as usually the premise is something outrageous that they try to back up with fake science that has no value (like ridley scott’s prometheus), this was quite the opposite.
everything was so smart, enticing and thought provoking, amy adams was phenomenal with renner as a great support. as far as sci-fi goes, this is how it should be done.
Denis Villneueve you’re amazing and I’m even more excited to see Dune.
