Nakul’s review published on Letterboxd:
"One, two, Freddy's coming for you ... Three, four, better lock your door ... Five, six, grab your crucifix ... Seven, eight, gonna stay up late ... Nine, ten, never sleep again!"
Finally rewatched A Nightmare on Elm Street for the first time in years. It's kinda dated and the acting sucks but I can't think of many other slashers films that are as purely imaginative, also it's perfect for the first contact with the slasher cinema of the 80's. The dream kill sequences are creative and visceral.
