"Some people are born just made to be buried."
Really dug Antonio Campos's THE DEVIL ALL THE TIME for the most part. An ambitious gothic noir and unrelenting portrait of religion & violence, tho with some evident pacing & structural oddities. Tom Holland was solid & loved whatever the fuck Robert Pattinson was doing here. I'm sucker for atmospheric southern noir, so this was right up my alley.
It would have probably been better as a mini-series, because my major issue with this movie is they tried to include a snippets of everything that happened in the novel without giving more time to plot out and execute all of the individual arcs.
