Actually decent...I was a background too, and when it was on Netflix I was in one of the preview photos, so that rocked. Actually came out pretty beautiful, was a nice film all in all. The one actress from Narnia was nice to everyone but me...
Brilliant movie, but also a bit too self indulgent. The movie is clearly trying to fulfill the title of "surrealist", so whilst simultaneously gorgeous, the film enters a realm for which it consistently puts forth the effort of being surrealist, but not doing so through natural manners.
Charlie Kaufman puts me into the most suicidal parts of my brain, and keeps me there for a solid day. That being said, I really enjoyed this film and really felt uncomfortable the whole time, much as my life has a tendency to do. If you're trying to feel good today; don't watch this film if you're anything like me and contemplate the meaningless intricacies of existence with melancholy, and disdain. Otherwise, you should be good.
