Film #8 of Hellbound: December Movie Challenge 2
I feel like I've just seen some kind of masterpiece. At first I was laughing at how awful it was, but soon enough I found myself actually enjoying the damn thing. It's so mindblowingly entertaining, pretty much because everything is so impeccably horrible. The writing is incoherent, the acting is awful, and it's way too long for its own good, but the film's weird charm always keeps it fun. It's nicely shot, too. Also boobs.
I feel like this is the kind of movie that deserves a cult following; not something like Sharknado. I'm not sure whether this movie is purposefully bad or if it's really just bad, but the ambiguity is part of what makes it great. This is essentially the Evil Dead of the 90s. Crazy over the top and totally memorable.
