I honestly don’t know if I can love a film anymore than I do Aliens. Yes, Alien is the shit and a horror staple. But Aliens is the best of the series for me. It fathered one of the greatest first person shooters in Halo. It also produced some of the best characters in any movie EVER. We have the most bad ass heroine in Ellen Ripley. We have the bad-assery from Corporal Hicks played by Michael Biehn and Vasquez…

“I know you gentlemen have been through a lot, but when you find the time, I’d rather not spend the rest of this winter... TIED TO THIS FUCKING COUCH!”

My NUMERO UNO favorite horror movie of all time. Could watch this everyday of my life and NOT get bored. John Carpenter is THE master of horror. Throw in an Ennio Morricone score with Kurt Russell as Macready and voila, a masterpiece. I own three different copies of this on blu…

This is probably one of the better it’s so bad it’s good movies. It knows how stupid and silly it is, but it’s still a really good time. It’s so surprising to me that Alexandre Aja directed this movie since the tone of most of his horror movies are much darker. This is aimed as more of a comedy, with the premise being evolved piranhas killing college kids on spring break. This is probably my favorite of any of the Piranha movies, since it doesn’t r take itself too seriously. Some of the deaths are pretty funny too.

  • Speed

There’s literally never a dull moment in Speed and it’s one of the greatest action movies of all time. It’s so fucking intense from start to finish, and the chemistry between Keanu and Bullock is great. I find it so funny that he’s consistently mackin’ on her even though there’s a bomb on the bus and innocent civilians lives are at stake. But hey man, spit that game I guess.

Also, Dennis Hopper is so chaotic in this and it’s…

    “The Dude, abides.”

The more I watch this movie, the more I love it. So many great quotes and wacky characters. Just everything you’d expect from the Coen Bros. It ain’t touching Raising Arizona or No Country for Old Men but I still love it wholeheartedly.

The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It

I honestly didn’t like this and I kind of fault myself for going in with high hopes. The scares didn’t land for me, I found the story to be somewhat whatever, and just never really got invested with it. It definitely was shot well and looked great too. It had its moments but didn’t blow me away. Ed Warren went a little Jack Torrance at the end and the camera work really resembled Kubrick’s The Shining. I find the first…
