    Fantastic Mr. Fox

Watched movie so much as a kid. It’s held up very well, jokes and charm are just as good now as they were in 2009. Love this one

I swear, Nolan never misses. This dude only turns out hits. I can’t believe I enjoyed a 2hr movie about rival magicians as much as I did. There are classic Nolan twists that require some big brain thinking and a fair amount of stuff that you have to suspend your disbelieve in order to buy into the movie, but it all works. Overall, super good. I will watch anything Nolan makes, periodt.

  • Gone Girl

    Gone Girl

Holy shit. This movie was a fucking trip. I was captivated every second of the entire 2.5hr run time. This movie has so many twists and turns I felt like I ended up watching 3 different movies in one, but they’re all so good. I can’t believe it took me so long to get around to seeing this. Highly recommend.

This movie is fucking hilarious. I will watch anything that Jemaine Clement or Taika Waititi have been involved in making.

  • Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

Pretty decent movie as it is however I find this one to be the weakest of the Rest of the Harry Potter films. Nothing super eventful happens in it, also I feel like this movie in particular leaves out so much that the book explains, for example, they don’t say at all why the school presents the magical room for them all to train secretly in however In the book it is. Also many of the themes hit very on…

    The Babadook

Decent enough horror movie. Had some good scares but the end was dumb as fuck tho and so abrupt. Also I would have strangled that kid way before the babadook even got involved lol, he was so annoying.

  • Hereditary

This might well be one of the best horror movies I’ve ever seen. To start with, the acting is so well done for people I’ve never seen in other movies. Like everyone, most notably the mom and Joan both did stellar jobs at their roles. Also the sound design and cinematography is amazing. The sound (and sometimes lack there of) creates so much tension and really brings you in. And there are some incredible shots in this film, notably, after…

    The Twilight Saga: New Moon

I agree with Humza that it’s better than the first but I refuse to rate any of these higher than 1 stars because they take themselves way too seriously. And let’s just say that it makes sense that a Mormon wrote these

If u don’t laugh at this and treat it like the comedy it is then u gotta re evaluate your movie tastes

  • The Witch

    The Witch

Wow... just wow. Robert Eggars knows how to make a piece of art seem so authentic to its time period I cannot even comprehend. The costuming, dialogue, and sets were incredible. You really do feel like you are in early colonial America. I have to say though, it is a slow burn. More happens in the last 30 min than then entire first hour. However, I was never bored by it, but that’s just me, your mileage may vary. But wow. The ending is amazing. Like I was speechless from the last act.
