It’s like that other one but with real people. What else is there to say. Besides feeling generally needless, the movie is technically competently made outside of some editing issues. Could’ve been better, could’ve been worse
It is wild that Pixar has not been able to stick the landing on any of its franchises outside of this series. I found this to be an incredibly fun and emotionally satisfying continuation of the Toy Story series. It might be the weakest of the four but that doesn’t make it any less great.
This is a documentary that has a lot to tackle and when it hits it hits hard. I liked that it focused on substantive reasoning to how America got so damaged before we got Trump. I thought the sections on Flint’s water crisis were particularly strong.
Overall, wherever your politics lie, there’s probably something to get out of this for everyone.
