Jackson McHenry’s review published on Letterboxd:
Gotta respect Emerald Fennell for getting Paris Hilton's "Stars Are Blind" and Wagner's prelude "Tristan und Isolde" (okay not the deepest cut tbh because every music theory teacher is obsessed with it, but still) into the same movie. The latter actually got me to see the whole thing as a doomed gothic romance between Cassie and Nina, which I think is the way the movie works best for me? Not to spoil anything, still working out my feelings about that ending, but gotta respect something as stylishly confident and full of TV's nice boys playing bad.
