Jack Howard’s review published on Letterboxd:
I don’t think this film gets enough credit. The fact that Craig Gillespie manages to weave together several points of view into something coherent is already amazing. But it goes further. It dances on an incredibly difficult line, switching from dramatic, often upsetting scenes to all out comedy scenes and never feels jarring. It’s outstanding. Margot Robbie is incredible, I think it’s her best performance to date. Allison Janney. Need I say more? I mean, this movie makes you care, but like, really care about Tonya’s final skating performance. I didn’t think I’d ever care about figure skating this much! This is some damn good movie.
