Jack Paterson’s review published on Letterboxd:
If this movie reminds me of anything it's Orson Welles' "The Lady from Shanghai." It's beautiful to look at, listen to, and watch. The performances are solid but safe to say Charlize steals the show a thousand times over. But God help you if you try to focus on the plot all too much. Parts of the story play well and are rewarding and fun and parts just drag on and may make little to no sense if you missed the last scene. Narrative-wise a lot could've been cut for a cleaner film. This is a long and gorgeous music video of the highest order with a lovely soundtrack and I could see it playing in nightclubs or parties in the background for years to come. This aesthetic candy. And the fight sequences are all amazing of course but I didn't need to tell you that. But it's not John Wick. It's not James Bond. It's maybe not even Angelina Jolie's "Salt". But it's fun.
